I have extensive experience in working with people from a wide range of backgrounds with varying psychological issues. Prior to commencing working in private practice in 2009, I worked in non-profit organizations counselling people with addictions, chronic illness and issues related to sexuality.
I worked as an Art therapist running groups and working with adults, children and adolescents individually. I completed specialist training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which is a mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy. I engaged in over 6 years of psychodynamic-oriented clinical supervision. I went on to train in Internal Family Systems, Level 1 and 2, with significant clinical supervision.
I have been passionate about finding effective ways to experience more of who I really am for the last 20 years. I am committed to my own professional and personal learning and strive to always bring my authentic self to my work. Whether you are experiencing deep emotional pain or coping well with life and wanting to resolve some repetitive patterns of behaviour that no longer serve you, I look forward to working with you.
